The TM-2430 is clinically validated to the highest A/A grade under the British Hypertension Society protocol, making it ideal for use in any environment from GPs and hospitals to occupational health departments. It is also one of the smallest ambulatory monitors on the market, designed and manufactured by A&D themselves. It weighs only 215g (excluding batteries) and the carry pouch, which also helps to reduce noise and vibration, attaches onto the patient's belt.
The Dr Pro software is Windows-based, user friendly and is supported by on-site training by the manufacturer. In one straightforward process, you input the settings, send the patient away with the monitor, download the data and retrieve reports based upon that data. These reports can then be either printed or saved as a PDF before attaching it to the patient notes.
The software allows the operator to set different intervals for readings, ranging from every five minutes to every two hours. These can be amended to vary throughout the day to fit in with the patient's lifestyle.
The TM-2430 has an intelligent inflation system that takes the average of the last three readings to ensure it only inflates to the level required, thereby increasing the comfort for the patient.
The TM-2430 is not only one of the most accurate, reliable and easy to use ambulatory monitors on the market, but it is also one of the lowest cost.
At a full list price of £1,295 it is generally £300 - £400 cheaper than its main competitors.
This makes it fantastic value for money and an essential for any health department.
